Foxing




I decided that it was about time to post Foxing since I just saw them tonight at Wrecking Ball.  Foxing are a five-piece post rock band from St. Louis formed in 2011.  They are absolutely amazing live, I highly recommend going to see them if you get the opportunity.

comfort creature are a post-punk band from Asheville, North Carolina.  Their music is the very definition of lo-fi, and they embody a strong DIY ethic.  comfort creature has a very concise aesthetic, which is one of the reasons I like this band so much.  For fans of Pity Sex and teen suicide.

Memento Mori




Memento Mori are a hardcore/punk band from Detroit, Michigan with a strong DIY ethic.  All of their music is self-written and was recorded by the members in their own homes.  I don't know a lot about this band aside from the fact that a lot of their music deals with themes of injustice, helplessness, and anger.  The vocals are rough and shouted, fans of Cruel Hand will dig.

Grandview is an emo/pop punk band from Burlington, Massachusetts that I know literally nothing about.  All of their music is up as pay-what-you-want on Bandcamp, but you should definitely consider supporting them because they are GOOD.  They really really remind me of Such Gold.  Give them a listen.
